The necklaces are approx 30-34cm in length, so short enough that your baby cannot pull at them.

How to use your Amber Teething Necklace
We recommend your baby wears the necklace from 4 months of age or when you see the first signs of teething, i.e. excessive dribbling, chewing, fussiness, mild fevers. Your little one should continue to wear the necklace until they are at least 3 or 4 years old, when all the rear molars have cut through.
The benefits of the necklace will continue even after that if you choose, as Amber has immunity boosting properties & also helps with many other ailments such as eczema and headaches.
The teething necklace is best worn at all times, only removing it to clean and when your baby is swimming or bathing. It should be tucked under clothing while sleeping to keep the Amber near your wee ones skin to maximize effectiveness. The necklaces are specifically short in length to prevent your baby from grabbing and pulling at them.
How to care for your Amber
Amber is a resin, therefore soft, so care should be taken when cleaning. Use warm water & a soft cloth. Do not use very hot water, detergents or any jewelry cleaning agents. Do not soak for long periods of time in water as it will rot the string. If cared for correctly, your Amber teething necklace can last for generations.
