Founded and operated in New Zealand, Mama Pukeko is the creation of Janet McGuinness, a midwife & lactation consultant in Gisborne, as well as her husband, Martyn.
As a professional midwife and a mother of two: Ciara, 2 1/2 & Cillian, 5 months, Janet has a deep understanding of the wants and needs of young babies. Janet is active in the local Gisborne community in terms of looking after babies and has years of experience with helping new mothers to care for the youngest members of their family.
